Sun setting directly behind the Sydney Harbour Bridge framed in a large window

Celebrity accountant Anthony Bell lists his Rose Bay harbourfront mansion after dropping $26.6million on a Crown penthouse – and the sun sets right behind the Harbour Bridge

Celebrity accountant Anthony Bell just spent $26.588 million on a Crown penthouse at One Barangaroo, so his house at 19 Bayview Hill Road, Rose Bay is on the market. The video doesn't give a price. The comments are full of people quoting $90 million and losing it.

Getting in

A white Rolls-Royce in the driveway. Sets the tone.

It backs straight onto the Hermitage Foreshore Reserve, which is public. One viewer warned you'll get walkers and cyclists going past right by the park entrance.

Wet-edge pool. Down here there's also a spa and a cabana, all behind glass walls that slide open.

From up here you can see what people were grumbling about. Over 1,000 square metres of land and the house takes up most of it. "It literally has no backyard," said one.

Opera House on one side, bridge on the other. The listing says you see them from nearly every room.

Inside

David Walker and Peter Janks designed it. The foyer goes up two floors with a little bridge across the top, which I'd walk over way more than I needed to.

Hare & Klein did the styling. Floating stairs, dark slats, a plinth with not much on it.

Grand piano, coffered ceiling, over 1,100 square metres inside in total. One commenter reckons the ceilings are "way too loww" and it's worth $30 million tops. I don't see it from here.

Glass disappears and the lounge becomes the terrace. It's pitched for anything from a quiet dinner to 200-plus guests.

Timber island, a few stools. Honestly the most normal room in the house.

Spa with the bridge parked in the window. Hard to argue with that.

Upstairs

The dressing room is basically a corridor of wardrobes.

Downstairs gets fun

Gym opens onto the lawn. So there is some lawn.

Ten seats, tiered sofas, projector in the ceiling. There's a whole games level too, which the video barely bothers to show.

Porsche 911 convertible, a Mercedes, an SUV. I'm guessing the cars don't come with it.

Lit up at night it looks a bit like a hotel. One viewer called it "another boring international hotel," which is harsh, but I get where they're coming from.

Best offers in the comments so far: "How about 20m? Final offer" and "perhaps 31m." Someone also claims it's been trying to sell since 2015, so maybe don't laugh them off.
