This Kansas house has an actual glass-walled showroom for cars in the basement

So I was browsing listings in Stilwell, Kansas, and stumbled on this crazy place. It’s basically a modern playground sitting on over ten acres of land.

You get total privacy out here. The driveway leads up to a flat-roofed modern house that looks like a high-end gallery.

The entrance

The front walkway uses concrete pavers lined with dark gravel. It feels very minimalist before you even get to the door.

At night, the outdoor lighting turns the whole front yard into a mood.

Once you walk through the door, you’re greeted by a grey stone accent wall. The floor tiles are huge, giving the entry a spacious feel.

The main living space

Just past the entry hall, the house opens up into an airy room with a grand piano and a glass wine display.

The wine display is built right into a wood column, which is a clever way to divide the space.

The living area features towering ceilings and a massive fireplace. The dark wall around the fire makes a huge statement.

The dining table is positioned right by the glass walls. The views of the trees outside are excellent.

Let’s look at the kitchen

The kitchen feels warm because of all the wood grain. They went with walnut cabinets that match the huge island.

The kitchen opens directly to the patio, so you can cook while looking out at the pool.

Around the corner, they tucked away a coffee bar and pantry area. It keeps the main counters totally clean.

The closet looks more like a boutique store, complete with a built-in makeup vanity.
