I’d never leave the pool if I lived in this desert house

So, I found this crazy house up in the high desert that you can actually co-own for a fraction of the cost. It sits right on top of a mountain with views that do not look real.

Coming up the driveway

You drive up this concrete ramp to get to the entrance. The house is built right into the side of the rocky hill, keeping it hidden from the road.

Inside the main floor

Once you get inside, the main living area is completely open. There is a bar setup and a game area that practically begs you to host a party.

They even have a ping pong table set up right in the middle of things, with glass doors opening up to the hills.

The living room has this massive sectional couch wrapping around a wooden coffee table. It faces a fireplace built into a stone wall.

The kitchen and dining setup

The kitchen shares the same space, dominated by a quartz waterfall island. You could easily fit five people on those barstools.

The back wall of the kitchen has dark cabinets and these sliced wood art pieces lined up along the top.

Right next to the kitchen is the dining table, positioned so you can look straight out of the glass doors.

Here is a better look at that table. Imagine having dinner while watching the desert sky turn pink over the mountains.

The primary suite

The main bedroom is basically its own apartment. It has a private fireplace, a wet bar, and sliding doors out to the deck.

From the bed, you get a view of the desert landscape. It feels private, like you are the only person on the mountain.

The main bathroom is massive. It has a freestanding tub right by a window, plus a glass shower.

Even the walk-in closet is bigger than most bedrooms. It has dark wood drawers and tons of shelving.

Guest rooms and extra space

The guest bedrooms do not feel like an afterthought. This one has its own sliding glass door leading to a patio.

Another bedroom keeps things simple with warm wood nightstands and large windows.

Every bedroom has access to a modern bathroom with dark cabinets and glass showers.

Here is another one of the bathrooms, featuring light grey tiles and a roomy shower.

And a third guest bathroom, keeping up the same clean design.

They even put effort into the laundry room, which has front-loading machines and extra cabinet space.

Then there is the garage. It is an absolute cavern with epoxy floors and room for multiple cars.

Out on the decks

The outdoor spaces are where this house gets ridiculous. The upper deck wraps around the house with a sectional sofa.

Further down the deck, there is another lounge area and an outdoor dining table.

There is also an outdoor kitchen with a grill and a TV, so you do not miss the game while cooking.

The infinity pool

But the real star is the infinity pool on the lower level. It sits right on the edge of the slope, looking out over the valley.

You can line up loungers right next to the water. The view from here is tough to beat.

There is also a shaded lounge area right under the upper balcony if you need a break from the desert sun.

And if that is not enough, there is a sectional sofa set up on the patio right next to the pool.

The way the stone retaining walls terrace up the hillside next to the patio is a smart touch.
