I’m convinced this is the best backyard setup in Florida

Seriously, look at this place. It looks like a boutique hotel, but it is actually just a single-family house on almost an acre of land.

First impressions

Pulling up to the property, the driveway opens into a huge courtyard paved with brick and lined with palms. It sets a mood before you even get out of the car.

The front entrance features arched doors with glass panels. You can see straight through to the pool before you even cross the threshold.

Inside the main house

Once you walk in, the great room opens up with a stone wall and arched windows that look out toward the back yard.

The glass doors slide entirely out of the way, giving you that indoor-outdoor flow everyone wants in Florida.

Just off the main living space, there is another lounge area. The wood details on the ceiling are seriously impressive.

A secret bar

Behind an arched brick opening, they built a dedicated wet bar. It looks like a cool tavern tucked away in the corner.

Inside, it has dark cabinets, a wine fridge, and plenty of counter space to prep drinks.

The kitchen and dining setup

This kitchen is massive. It literally has two islands. That means you can prep on one and have people hanging out at the other without getting in your way.

It features professional Wolf appliances and copper pots hanging right above the prep island.

My favorite detail here is the long, low window right behind the stove. It lets in natural light instead of just looking at a tiled wall.

Right next to the kitchen, the dining space is framed by tall windows and a wood tray ceiling.

The primary wing

The main bedroom feels totally private. You have direct access to your own patio area through double doors.

This patio is covered and looks right out onto the green grass. It is a great spot for morning coffee.

The bathroom has dark wood cabinets, double sinks, and glass doors leading to a private outdoor space.

The indoor shower is massive, with vertical tile work and a rain showerhead.

But the real prize is the outdoor shower. It is tucked behind a high wall under a wooden pergola.

And the walk-in closet has custom built-ins made of dark wood with drawers and open shelving.

Cozy hideaways

If you need to get some work done, there is a private office with wood floors and a built-in bookcase with a library ladder.

They also set up this den with leather seating and a cowhide rug. It has a great movie-night vibe.

Plenty of room for guests

Your guests will never want to leave. This guest bedroom has two beds and a coastal style.

Their bathroom keeps the beachy vibe with textured frames on the mirrors and a blue vanity.

There is another guest room with herringbone wood floors and blue accents.

And a third guest room has neutral tones and its own private entry to the outdoor area.

Each guest space has its own attached bathroom, so no one has to share.

The backyard situation

Let’s talk about the outdoor living space because it is wild. The covered porch area is lined with stone arches and wood ceilings.

There is a full outdoor living room with plenty of comfortable seating.

Over in the corner, you have an outdoor kitchen, complete with a grill, sink, and decorative wine barrels on the wall.

On cooler evenings, you can hang out by the stone fireplace outside and watch TV.

There is also a wooden table out here for hosting dinner parties.

The pool itself is massive, with a circular spa and plenty of lounge chairs lining the sides.

If you want to sit under the stars, they built a gravel fire pit area out in the yard surrounded by palm trees.

Beyond the screened enclosure, there is a lawn that wraps around the property.
