This Utah house is basically a private waterpark

Let’s talk about scale. This place is over 50,000 square feet. That is not a typo. It is essentially a private castle sitting on 150 acres at the end of a canyon in Utah. You could easily get lost in here for a week and no one would find you.

Out front

When you drive up, it feels less like a house and more like a high-end ski resort or a national park lodge.

You pull up under this covered portico with stone pillars and heavy beams.

The entry situation

Open the front doors and you are hit with a foyer that belongs in a movie. The curved staircases wrap around a marble floor.

If you look straight up, there is a crystal chandelier that probably weighs more than a small car. It is wild.

Main living space

Right off the entry, the formal living room has these massive windows. The mountains look close enough to touch.

Source

About the kitchens

Yes, kitchens, plural. The main one is huge, white, and has enough counter space to feed a literal army.

Source

But if you do not want to mess up the clean look of the main kitchen while cooking, there is a second prep kitchen hidden away.

Quiet spaces

If you need to actually get some work done, or just pretend to, this library with wood shelves is about as cozy as a giant house gets.

Source

The main bedroom suite

The bedroom is larger than most apartments. It has its own fireplace and plenty of space to just wander around.

Source

The bathroom is ridiculous in the best way. The tub sits in its own columned rotunda overlooking the valley.

Source

Then you have the closet. It is basically a boutique clothing store completely wrapped in mirrors.

Source

To get back downstairs, you can take the stairs or just walk along this mezzanine that looks down over the foyer.

The indoor waterpark

Okay, here is the real reason this house is famous. It has a full-blown indoor pool complex with waterfalls and a waterslide.

Source

There is even a lazy river winding through the space. You could float here all afternoon.

Source

And when you want to dry off, you just lounge by these massive windows that look out at the peaks.

Source

Play areas

The kids’ room is basically a commercial playground. There is a wooden pirate ship that slides directly into a ball pit.

Source

For the adults, there is a private two-lane bowling alley downstairs.

Source

And a private theater with 27 red seats. Imagine movie nights here.

Source

Sports and wellness

If you want to burn off some energy, you have a full indoor basketball court. No need to worry about the winter weather.

Source

After a game, you can hang out in the game room, which has a pool table and a stone fireplace.

Source

Or you can just sweat it out in the massive cedar sauna.

Oddly specific features

Since walking across 50,000 square feet can get tiring, there is an elevator to take you between floors.

Source

There is also a massive safe door. You could probably store half the world’s gold in here.

Source

They even put in a dog wash station right by the door. Super practical.

Source

Stepping outside

The balconies wrap around the back of the house, giving you a front-row seat to the Wasatch Range.

At night, the whole estate lights up like a private resort in the middle of nowhere. It is pretty hard to beat.
