Dedicated handbag closet lined with multi-tiered illuminated shelving packed with Hermès Birkin bags

Kylie Jenner sells her sprawling Hidden Hills mansion for $15.3million – almost $5million below asking, and it comes with a floor-to-ceiling Birkin closet

Kylie Jenner just sold her Hidden Hills mansion for $15.3 million, nearly $5 million under the $20.25 million she first asked. Here's that house, plus her $36.5 million Holmby Hills compound and a $15 million patch of dirt that used to belong to Miley Cyrus.

Where the money came from

First, the business paying for all of it. Kylie Cosmetics launched in 2016, and she later sold a controlling stake for $600 million.

Net worth estimates put her somewhere between $700 million and $900 million. The giant pink trunk is doing its part.

A Christmas detour

Green cupcakes with Stormi. I'd eat one.

She bought her first multi-million dollar home in 2015, at 17. That tree is taller than every place I lived at 17.

The $36.5 million one

Holmby Hills. She paid $36.5 million for this compound, and the front looks like it could survive a siege.

Wrong house for a second. This dirt is the 5-acre Hidden Hills lot she paid $15 million for. We'll come back to it.

Her neighbours include a country club golf course and, down the road, the Playboy Mansion.

15,350 square feet, 7 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms. Two bathrooms per bedroom. I respect it.

Four separate guest houses, plus a guard house staffed around the clock. The guards get their own bathroom and kitchen, which is more than my first apartment had.

Developer Gala Asher spec-built the place. He also built Kris Jenner's Palm Springs home, so it stays in the family.

Inside it's mostly places to hang out

One of several game rooms. Yes, several.

Red felt, blue neon. Somebody wanted a Miami bar at 2am.

Handsome kitchen. Also a nightmare for fingerprints.

At night the courtyard looks like a Vegas hotel pool, minus the guy asleep on the lounger.

Two guest suites with private patios and two guest apartments with little kitchens. Your in-laws could move in and you'd never see them.

I'd sit right here and never go back inside.

Miley's old horse ranch

Back to that dirt lot. Miley Cyrus owned it from 2015 to 2018, back when it had a 1-acre riding area, two paddocks and a 10-stall barn. She sold it for $5 million.

The ranch house got knocked down. Kylie's $15 million bought pre-approved plans for an 18,000-square-foot mansion with a 12-car garage. One commenter says she should build condos and charge millionaire rent instead. Good luck getting that past Hidden Hills.

The house she just sold

Now the one in the news. 13,200 square feet on 1.43 acres, 8 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms. Note the Fendi stroller parked under Marilyn.

She paid $12 million for it in 2016, and the redo landed in Architectural Digest in 2019. That's a Basquiat over the fireplace.

Martyn Lawrence Bullard designed this bar. Saint Laurent surfboard, leopard stools, framed Trojan boxes. I don't get it and I kind of love it.

Hot pink towel cubbies. One viewer said her house gives them anxiety, and I think this is the room they meant.

Clear acrylic bed, so nothing's hiding under there. There's also a detached guest house with its own kitchen, plus an office with a fireplace, a massage room and a 6-car garage.

Three Warhol dollar signs and a neon sign reading 'I Can't Believe How Much You Love Me.' Most honest room in the house.

A $5 million drop sounds brutal until you remember she paid $12 million in 2016. Now can somebody answer the commenter who asked which house she actually lives in? I want to know too.
