Found a house in LA that actually makes the modern farmhouse look cool

I usually get a little tired of the modern farmhouse style, but this one under the Hollywood Sign hits different. It’s celebrity-owned, costs five million, and feels like someone with actual taste picked out every detail.

Out front

The curb appeal isn’t that typical stark white box. The soft wood siding and olive trees make it feel immediately warmer than its neighbors.

The entryway

The front door is a massive dark grey pivot-style setup that leads into a wide entryway with oak floors.

Main level spaces

Right off the entry is a cozy sitting room. The checkered rug and the black fireplace surround make the space feel styled but still relaxed.
