I’m obsessed with the backyard pool setup at this Pinehurst lake house
You know those houses that look like a standard country club home from the front but turn out to be a high-tech resort on the inside. That is exactly what is happening at 90 El Dorado Street. It is sitting right on the lake inside the Country Club of North Carolina, and honestly, the backyard setup alone makes me want to pack my bags.

First impressions from the driveway
When you first roll up, the place has this low-key, cedar-shingled look that blends right into the tall pines. It is quiet, tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac.

You walk up a brick path surrounded by green landscaping to get to those red doors.

The spacious entry and living area
Inside, the foyer sets the tone with slate floors and windows that look right out onto a little side patio.

Turning the corner, you hit a white brick wall that stretches up to the wood ceiling, giving the entry a lot of character.

Then you walk into the main living room, and your eyes go straight to the back wall of glass. The view of the lake through the pine trees is unbelievable.

It feels like a cabin but much more spacious, with wood floors and plenty of room for a giant sectional.

The layout flows really naturally from the seating area back toward the kitchen and dining spaces.

On the other side of the room, there is a brick fireplace that looks like the perfect spot to hang out on a cold night.

The fireplace actually acts as a divider, letting you peek into the hallway and dining room.

Time to eat
The dining room has a completely different energy with peach walls and a brick wall.

Big windows wrap around the table, so you still get those pine tree views while you are having dinner.

There is a pass-through opening that connects the dining room directly to the kitchen, which makes serving food incredibly easy.

A serious kitchen setup
If you like to cook, this kitchen is going to make you lose your mind. It is packed with high-end tech, like a Wolf range and a Sub-Zero fridge.

The granite countertops are huge, and the prep sink on the island means two people can cook at once without bumping elbows.

The wood cabinetry goes all the way to the ceiling, giving you tons of storage space.

Look at this range. It has a built-in griddle and a pot filler faucet right on the tiled wall.

Every appliance is top-tier, including a Miele steam oven and a vacuum-seal drawer for serious meal prep.

The layout is super open, so whoever is cooking can still talk to everyone hanging out at the island.

There is even a built-in coffee station right by the door, which is pretty much the dream setup for mornings.

You can literally grab your espresso and walk straight out the sliding glass doors to the deck.

Casual dining by the deck
Right next to the kitchen is a dining table surrounded by glass doors that lead outside.

There is another counter with glass cabinets above it, perfect for setting up a buffet or bar.

The whole space feels bright and connected, making it the best spot for hosting weekend brunches.

Spaces for work and workouts
Downstairs, there is a room for gym equipment with wood floors and glass doors that lead outside.

Working out is a lot easier when you can look out at the trees and step right onto the patio for fresh air.

There is a half-bath nearby so you do not have to run upstairs in the middle of a workout.

If you work from home, the office space is quiet and gets natural light from the skylights.

There is plenty of space for a desk and a leather couch to read on.

Windows look out into the woods, which beats staring at a wall any day.

The main bedroom suite
The main bedroom feels like a cabin getaway with windows that frame the lake and forest.

It has a clean look with wood floors and plenty of room for a king bed.

The closet has tons of built-in storage and hanging racks to keep everything organized.

In the main bathroom, you get a double vanity with white countertops and plenty of drawer space.

There is a glass-door shower right next to the entrance to the closet.

Room for guests
The other bedrooms are comfortable, with wood paneling on the walls and windows.

Each room has great closet space and feels totally private from the rest of the house.

The bathrooms are updated with modern finishes and double sinks.
