Jersey Shore oceanfront mansion sells for record $11.55million in just three months – smashing Long Beach Island’s previous high by more than $3.25million
This is the most expensive house ever sold on Long Beach Island. It went for $11.55 million in Loveladies, closed in about three months, and beat the old island record by more than $3.25 million.
Outside first
Three stories, three-car garage, and a roof deck on top of all that.

Up top you can see the whole island. Bay on one side, ocean on the other.

The main rooms
Coffered ceilings and dark wood floors on the lower level. Very Jersey Shore money, in a good way.

Upstairs the ceiling goes double height, with a curved balcony looking down on it. Keep an eye on that globe chandelier, it shows up again later.

Pop art over the dining table that says FOREVER YOUNG. Not my pick, but it's a beach house.

Mirrored hexagon tile and purple LED shelves behind the bar. I'd lose the purple. Somebody clearly throws parties, though.

Primary suite
A fireplace in a beach house bedroom sounds silly until you remember what LBI is like in February.

And the balcony's right there over the dunes.

Freestanding tub against a wall of bookmatched marble. Faucet comes straight up out of the floor.

Top floor and the pool
That arched window is what the listing is proudest of. Fair enough.

Yes, a pool. Up on the deck, dunes right behind it.

Bedrooms, lots of them
Guest rooms get tray ceilings too.

Cobalt fish-scale tile. Best bathroom in the house and I'll argue about it.

Bunk room for four under a very loud ceiling. Kids will fight over the top bunks.

Retro wallpaper and its own door to the deck.

Two sinks. Nobody's sharing.

Blue room, and the slider opens right onto the outdoor kitchen. Good news for whoever wakes up hungry.

Downstairs and the summer kitchen
Covered summer kitchen with a proper grill and hood. Plus ping-pong, obviously.

Sink, fridge, curved bar, ocean. You'd never go inside to eat.

Sunk into the deck, blue fire glass in the pit. If I got one spot on the whole property, it's this.

Game room downstairs with a round table and more pop art.

After dark
From above you get the full picture: how much deck there is, and the boardwalk cutting through the dunes straight to the sand.

There's that chandelier, with the sun going down over Barnegat Bay behind it. Best photo in the listing.

Pool, fire pit, stairs, all lit up. It looks like a small resort.

Stone front, lit driveway, ocean glowing behind.

It sits on a row of big Loveladies houses and still beat every one of them.

Three months on the market and $3.25 million past the old record. I'd still spend every night at that fire pit and never see the rest of the house.
