Jonah Hill’s former Malibu Colony beach house hits the market for $12.95million after hosting a private memorial for Hayden Panettiere
Jonah Hill's former beach house in Malibu Colony is back on the market for $12.95 million, and TMZ says it recently hosted a private memorial reception for Hayden Panettiere. A YouTuber toured it and gave it a 2 out of 5, which seems harsh until you look at the floors.
Walking in
You get a walled courtyard before you even reach the front door. The host wanted to sit down right there, and honestly, same.

It comes with a golf cart. In the Colony, that's how you get to the beach.

The big room

Big ceilings, iron chandeliers. One commenter hated the whole interior, "especially the chandeliers."

Glass railing up top so nothing blocks the view. Then someone hung a sliding barn door on the landing, and the host was not having it.

Those are outdoor-style stone pavers across the entire ground floor. I sort of get it at the beach, sandy feet and all, but it looks like a patio someone put a roof on.

The kitchen
No island. Just a very long steel prep table on wheels that seats eight or more. The host compared it to a prix-fixe counter, which is exactly right.

Crystal chandelier, meet office ceiling tiles.

Upstairs

Same pavers up here too. Cold feet at 6am, I'd guess.

Nice headboard. The grey door looks like it leads to a loading dock.

Twenty-four drawers. The host counted them out loud and called it certifiably deranged. The steam shower in this same bathroom has an antique French marble plaque from 1896 set into the wall, which might be the most interesting thing in the house, and we barely see it.

A slice of ocean between the neighbours. One viewer loved every outdoor spot except this lonely bistro table.

Out back

Wolf grill, red knobs. The host was into it.

The dark wood decking apparently stays cool underfoot in summer. Useful in Malibu.

The host took issue with the kidney-bean curve. I think it's fine. It's a pool in Malibu.

Two out of five from the host, and one viewer's entire review was "No McLovin." I'd give the outside a 5 and pull up every floor tile inside.
