This tiny Tennessee farmhouse has zero wasted space
Found this tiny house in Kingston, Tennessee, sitting on 37 acres of open land. It is under 500 square feet but somehow fits a king bed, a full bathroom, and a washer-dryer.
Starting outside
The exterior has a clean, classic farmhouse look with white siding and a metal roof. It sits on a brick foundation that really grounds the design.
The front porch is wider than you’d expect, complete with a swing and some rocking chairs. To the side, there is a dedicated gravel spot for a fire pit.
First impressions
You walk straight into the living room, which feels spacious thanks to the high ceiling and tall windows. There is a grey couch that actually pulls out into an extra bed.
Instead of a bulky coffee table, they went with a blue storage ottoman. The gas fireplace has a thick timber mantel and a frame TV mounted right above it.
The kitchen setup
The kitchen counter wraps around to form a breakfast bar with four wooden stools. The clean white countertops keep things looking bright.
An apron-front farm sink sits in the corner of the counter. The hosts left some fresh snacks and mini blueberry muffins out under a glass dome.
The retro blue fridge adds a cool pop of color. Floating shelves above the white gas range hold dishes and matching blue storage canisters.
A sliding barn door hides a pantry stocked with more coffee gear, a microwave, and a toaster. Tucked into a nearby alcove is a stacked washer and dryer.
The back deck
The back door opens onto a small wooden deck. It has a simple metal mesh railing and a bistro set for outdoor coffee.
The bedroom
Transom windows above the doors let light filter between rooms. The bedroom itself is tight but still manages to fit a full king-size bed.
They fitted small nightstands on both sides with industrial bulb lamps. A small closet contains built-in shelves and an extra fan.
The bathroom
The bathroom features a wood vanity with a black faucet and a tall arched mirror. Grey hexagonal tiles cover the floor.
The walk-in shower has black frame details and a unique black-and-white flower tile floor. It is spacious and has a built-in wooden corner bench.
